Perhaps it is because the days of the month of March and February line up so perfectly and I keep remembering Tuesday, February 13 (as well as all the other days this week). I remember how different it was this time last month.

Perhaps it is the bill we got from the adoption agency, for the counseling of the birthmother. The counseling that led to the birthparents changing their minds. Or at least the counseling that got the birthmother so mad she wouldn’t take the social worker’s calls.

Perhaps it is reading Jenn’s entry.

perhaps it is that husband opened the door to the nursery.

Perhaps it is that people at work for the most part seem to think that we should be over this.

Perhaps it is because I feel like that week was just a dream.

Perhaps it is because her face is fading from my memory.

Perhaps it is because I am not over it.
