I miss Listless' updates (actually Deim, I miss talking to you on peg too). I've been thinking about lists a lot because I've been making a ton of them recently. It is something I do when I get too busy. So I've got in my head a list of things to get for vacation, a list of things to do after my class ends, a list of quilts I want to work on and now I've added a list of things to do for IVF.

Yep, yesterday we had our consultation appointment at the RE's office. Because we hadn't been there in over a year, they wanted to meet with us again and develop a PLAN. We had timed it so that the plan wouldn't interfere with school (as it is much easier for me to dash off when there aren't a million classes and easier for husband when he isn't teaching). We had no idea that they would be more anxious than we to get started so we ended up having to put them off for our vacation. And yes, I know how truly awful that sounds, but I have been so looking forward to this vacation and it is a tangible something to look forward to. So, the plan right now if to start injectables in June--perhaps mid June.

I didn't want to write much about IVF, mainly because I didn't want anyone who isn't suffering from infertility or whatever to be turned off. But I know that I found it very helpful to read about Heidi's experiences. I never knew until she said, that the injectable I took the last time cost so much money. I just didn't know because our insurance paid for it.

I guess that is my long winded statement that basically says this: I'm gonna write about it, but not everyday and I hope somebody might find it helpful.

Back to the lists. Ok, so I find myself more and more excited about the list of things I'm going to do after my class is over. When I was in college, I used to always put together a "break" reading list. These would be books people (or instructors) had mentioned that I wanted to read. The I would work my way through the list. I don't so much now have a list of things I want to read--although reading is certainly high on the list, I just don't have specific books. But for example, I want to finish clearing the leaves from fall and I want to open the pond, and I want to make these glass magnet thingies and I want to finish my purple fleece jacket, quilting the triangle quilt and put the borders on a baby quilt I am making for my friend D (who is due with her second child in May so I'd better get my butt in gear on that one). I also want to clean clean clean the house. I also want to work more on my movies for the final project and play more with flash (which is still kicking my butt but not as bad).

The vacation list is also exciting though. This weekend when I saw the Target ad including beach shoes I wanted to go RIGHT then and buy a pair for the trip. The trip is still almost 2 months away, but I thought having some of the supplied would make me feel better. Probably would too for about 3 minutes, then I'd be depressed about what I need to get done before then. Somehow though listing beach shoes, flip flops, a cool dress, those detergent tablets, and sunscreen make me feel better about looking out the window in April and seeing snow.
