The other day we were driving the girls to nature camp when Amy says: Maybe we'll see a dinosaur. Emily says--No, all the dinosaurs are dead. I said--well you saw dinosaur bones in Chicago, remember Sue? Amy says--Yes, dinosaurs are estinky. Husband and I started laughing and husband says, you mean extinct? Amy says-NO! a dead dinosaur would be stinky. You know because dead stuff is stinky. Emily pipes up with: yes! Even Sue was stinky.

MIL has been traveling, and usually she brings the ladies some little toy or t-shirt. This time she gave them each $10 so they could buy themselves a toy. There has been much discussion about what to buy, in part because we've been discussing some chore based money making opportunities. Amy has decided she'd like more Barbie clothes or a "boy Barbie" Husband informed her that "boy Barbies" were called Ken. (Emily for the record wants a big kitty--have no idea what exactly she's talkign about). So last night when we were brushing teeth Amy brought it up again: Could we go tomorrow and buy toys because I want a ken doll.
I said: Why do you want a Ken doll so much all of a sudden?
Amy: Because I have an evil plan.
